It looks like i am being responsible folks and if i am at my computer i am writing.  This might just mean that there is no room for journal entries this month. but i can't be sure, anything could happen.

So as a side note, i got my hair highlighted today.  Blonde.  Lots of them.
When i look in the mirror, i say, 'i'm yellow'
i don't know if i like it yet.  the one friend who has seen it, said, and i quote, "ooooo highlights,' and did not say anything about an opinion.

As an additional side note, i finally set my webcam up again today, and it is running right now.  no telling often it will run but it is right this second.  hi.

Right, the writing thing. i am at, um, one second, 23 771 words.  I am just starting on chapter 4.  If you read that right you will note that on Nov 9, less than one third of the way through the month, i am just about at the half way point word wise.  One could almost be impressed if one wanted to be.  Of course, those of you doing your math will realize that just starting chapter four when i am hitting the halfway word point (almost) is not the best place to be.  But that is indeed why i have forced myself to be ahead in the writing.  I have to write more in order to finished the right number of chapters in the right number of days.

It still looks like it will happen for me.  On the other hand, i want to be done chapter five by the end of this long weekend, nov 11, half way through the book before halfway through the month.  I think i can do it. do you?

Things are still going peachy, still managed to squeeze out 1700 words tonight enough enough i didn't get home from pottery until 10:30.

Who knew that turning the TV off would be that good for production?

According to the schedule, i am ahead of where i need to be sometime wednesday morning.
I am happy with this, and i am happy with my first chapter.  Or, well, yeah, i am happy with it, even though i know it will need some pretty extensive editing for sensibility before it is ever completely done. but hey, not allowed to do any of that this month. so all is good. for now.

of a slight concern is that the rough outline in my head says this book will be 10 chapters long...if they are all 8967 words long...um...one month, 50000 words ain't going to be enough.
