Stuff On Top

You know, sometimes i forget that i have long had an affair with a particular actress. That i have been in love with her since the first time i saw her in a movie.  I am not sure what it was though.  I mean, the ones that i can remember as perhaps being the oldest are Hudsucker Proxy and Dorothy Parker and the Vicious Circle.  Although i think that Hudsucker came first because i have a vague thought of that being who she was when i heard she was in Dorothy Parker, but she was not unfamiliar even then.

Hmmmm.  Why do i bring this up, this tribute, right now?  Because i have just been to The Anniversary Party.  Her new movie that she and Allan Cummings wrote and directed with Digital Film and using a group of their friends.  Sort of a good way to have a good time with your friends,  Write a little movie with them, shoot it with them, sell it and make a bundle.

This movie was very good. Extremely well done. I didn't for a second notice anything that would have said that it was made with a new and different technology that most movies.  The acting was tremendous, the lines witty and full of life.  But most of all, once again there was the lady Jennifer filling up the screen, leaving me with pangs of wonder and need.

   Ok. That's all. Short one.
