Hi there.  I know, i know, you want to hear more about the meeting with my Girlfriend and there is more up, there is, just click the link and you are there. Challenge Romance

I just had the most wonderful long weekend. I don't even know if i can remember all of the things that i have done.  Friday night i went to a movie after work, Space Cowboys, Geezers make space, which was better than i thought, but you can wait for the review for that.  And then after that i went to a pub for some rather good grub.  After that, i went to see theatre sports.  I got home late and was happy.  Saturday i woke up late and then went to the beach, from the beach where i alternated lazing in the sun and swimming i went to a fireworks party.

The fireworks, was of course, Benson and Hedges Symphony of Fire, (now don't any of you take my use of that name to mean that you should go out and take up smoking).  It was rather cool, a small party but some really interesting party dynamics went on and some rather fascinating conversations occured.  The fireworks themselves, well they were fireworks...what can you say about them.  Better than the others this year in my opinion. There is one more party of this nature tomorrow.  The finale as it were.  I am looking fwd to this.

Sunday, i got up early, and went across the water to watch the Gay Pride Parade.  What a hoot that was, Shar watched it with me and we were catty and fun and pointed and laughed and clapped and hollered. (more ands? i can put in more ands if you like).  After we got bored of the parade (i know, i know, but shar and i have very short attention spans) we wandered down to the pavilion areas.  We enjoyed that and hung out on the hillside some more until we got hungry and maybe a little bored again and moved one.  but i tell you more dresses on men, more boas more bare chests (male and female) i have not seen. What a spectacle.  Remind me sometime to tell you about the nice gentleman who was quite sure that i should adorn his arm for the rest of the day.  There were about 20000 people or more in that little area and we could tell this was for real by the 50 people in line at even an umbrella hotdog stand.   We wandered away and then just hung out for the rest of the afternoon.

Have you ever opened a bag of chips, tried one, and thought out loud, 'my this isn't very good at all,' and then continued to eat more and more?  Shar, myself, my friend G and our friend C all experienced this very phenomena with the same large bag of nacho cheese crunchits.  Weird, we were lucky to be able to pass on the cursed bag before we got ill. it must have been the way they kept coming into the apt just in time to take the curse on themselves.  After that, i played board games into the wee hours of the morning. More fun.

Monday was filled with 3 separate naps.  What could be better than that?  My weekend was very exceptionally wonderful.  How was yours?

Ok...off to write the challenge update.  have a nice day.
