So, even as i
read that quote over there again, i like it even more. I like how it isn't
true even in the slightest bit, but i also like how it could be true about
me. I like how i could appear to be that, and yet not be. Hmm, i
think that i am going to write a perplection about it. Yes, i am going to
write a perplection, yes, i am going to delve deep into the reason for this here
website and reserect it. This might have something to do with the fact
that i have just revamped my Annals section and
realize just how long it has been since i have had anything new in it. Ok.
i shall do it. There you go. Yes. Ha. Go down and look, it is
there.
The nice people at evoice, just after i had gotten used to using it, and one
week after i had put a link up here to it, the discontinued the Canadian service
for their 800 number, so now it is not only not free for my Cdn readers to leave
me a message, it is also not free for me to check them. Well, with phone,
i can still check my messages online. So, if you are American and want to begift
me with your tones, go for it. If you are Canadian...you are SOL. (whoa...i
must be bitter, i mentioned them and didn't link to them...and i am taking the
link off of the stuff over there on the left.)
My weekend past was very nice, my friend S brought his new girlfriend over to
visit. I had been hearing some really good things about her and i wanted
to meet her. After all, what kind of judge could S be, not only is he Gaga
over her, he is sleeping with her, that is well known for destroying male
objectivity abilities. Well, i would just like to say that she is a creep,
i don't like her one bit. HA!!! Ok, ok, i know that C. is going to be
reading this, i am just pulling her leg. Turns out that she is a lot of
fun, is amusing, and intelligent and keeps me on my toes and enjoying my
day.
We went out to UBC to see the much vaunted Anthology
Museum, something i have been trying to get around to doing since i moved
in. So even though it was kind of touristy, she agreed to go with me while
S did some other arduous things he was being required to do (that is totally
tongue in cheek btw guys, especially A). We went out, managed to get lost
(thanks Rugby guy who obviously has never been, nor never wanted to go to the
museum, for your great directions), very lost, like 3 km's out of our way, find
some great, full, ripe blackberries and only get mildly thorned, hold hands,
walk under bridges and finally make it to the museum. Which, i, um, found
boring, but what can you do? Then we hiked back, a much shorter route and
caught a bus downtown to see The Crew. Which was much better than
anticipated. (wait for the review).
And went to see the cheese masterpiece of Godzilla. Wow.
Again...review.
Ok.
enough about me. what about you?
